COVID-19 has changed the ways in which we can come together, but here at Chelsea Piers Fitness we continue to value the safety of our community members above all else. Since the pandemic began, our staff has been hard at work keeping all of our sports and fitness spaces safe, open and ready for you to enjoy. This page is designated to provide our community the information and resources they need to be safe around our clubs. Please check back regularly for updates.

We understand how important the cleaning and disinfecting of our spaces is during this time. Below is an outline of our daily cleaning protocol for every Chelsea Piers venue. We are using all EPA certified cleaners and disinfectants.

• Our spaces are cleaned and all shared equipment disinfected after every class and program.
• All high-touch surfaces are disinfected regularly throughout the day.

Disinfectant wipe stations have been placed at least every 75 ft. throughout our facilities. Touchless hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout all facilities.

HVAC systems:

• Our current systems are capable of introducing large volumes of fresh air into the building.
• The HVAC systems can turn over all of the air in our spaces multiple times per day.

Enhanced Air Purification Technology

• We've installed needle-point bi-polar ionization generators in the HVAC ductwork that help to kill pathogens in the air such as viruses, bacteria and mold.
• We also upgraded our air filters to hospital-grade that are capable of filtering particles as small as a virus.
